Ready for a new adventure? Your cycle tour starts either at the fruit farm or behind the level crossing in front of the gateway to Gut Stubbe. Follow the footpath along the houses down to the Schlei. For orientation, you can use the hiking trail 1 of the municipality of Rieseby, which you can find as a local map or online hereonline. This path takes you directly along the water for the first few kilometers.

The Schlei may not be a classic mountain fjord, but its landscape is still a dream. The path takes you through fields, forests and meadows, accompanied by the gentle sound of the wind and the cheerful chatter of ducks. You finally reach Rieseby via Gut Büstorf and Norby. Here you should definitely visit the Anna Mill museum of local history, which is open at weekends from 2 to 5 pm. Also take a look at the studio in the mill house, where small, but fine exhibitions await you.

On the way back to Stubbe, you will cross the Feldmark, where you will be immersed in a colorful sea of flowers during the rapeseed blossom - a sight that will even make you forget the fjords! Look forward to an unforgettable tour full of natural beauty and cultural discoveries.

Slippery weather suitability: It should be dry - and the Schlei glistens even more beautifully in the sunshine

Children: Not a very short tour for short legs - but perhaps the prospect of a cake at the finish will entice the youngest ones?

Dogs: Please keep dogs on a lead in the Schlei Nature Park - out of consideration for all other animals living there

Nature/culture/sport: One of the most beautiful hiking trails in the region - and on top of that, Mühle Anna also offers a lovely local history (museum) course

Getting around: discover the landscape in all its detail on foot

Local's tip: Just before the Lindaunisbrücke bridge is the Gut Stubbe fruit farm with its farm store and café - be sure to try the Trümmertorte here and let your gaze wander over the Schlei and apple trees

Tour combination: If you want to get a taste of the city after this tour through the countryside, stop off in Eckernförde on the way back

Duration: Three hours walk - and at least one hour in the café...
